Obrigado Mestre !

Luca,
This is really really nice. Thanks for weaving the old story with the new and illustrating the principle so beautifully. I remember Master Carlos distinctly talking to the US group of instructors a few years back about hard work with running the schools and the Association.. Evidence mounts daily around the world now because of the hard work done by so many. The truth is you'd better love it to do it for your life's work because it will be like training and always worthwhile. It is a great gift to offer something so powerfully transformative to people.
Now - to tire someone out in order to achieve your goals is a valuable tool. Thank goodness we don't finish learning it and there is always someone there to show us more. This is one more beauty of our wise art. But the power we walk with - the personal management and near secret knowledge we learn about energy sure comes in handy for anything from raising children to running a board meeting to helping someone heal an injury. Lately I am struck with the success that you guys have all brought to the martial arts industry as a whole and in the carrying forward of the vision of the Gracie family. Bravo friends. Your hard work has brought many fruits to bear. Blessings. Holly

Luca,

Great article. It means a lot to me to be mentioned there next to Jiu-Jitsu legends like Cassio Cardoso, Marcelo Behring and Carlson Gracie.

You and I learned from Carlos Gracie Jr. to see life through Jiu-Jitsu and it became the only way we know.

Very happy to live that way!

Bruno is very focused, he splits his day into several different slices (according to his roles) and is really good in not letting one subject distracts the other.

I think the swimming lesson was to value your time, and not to spend more than needed to accomplish a certain goal.

When he started training Jiu-Jitsu, he stopped swimming and realized that he could workout in a more enjoyable fashion and even spending less time.
