I am the co-founder of GRACIEMAG. Recently I was also invited by Gracie Barra to help them organize their Communication and Marketing department.
My academic background is Journalism, although I have also studied Computing Engineer for a couple of years, before I decided that the only part of the mechanic I really wanted to understand were armlocks.
I graduated in Jiu-Jitsu in 2003 by Carlos Gracie Jr at Gracie Barra headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro, where Renzo Gracie took me to practice when I was a blue belt under him, back in 1994.
Surf is my favorite hobby, but I also like to play acoustic guitar and, if there’s any powder, to ride some slopes with a snowboard.
My major passion is to research about health, particularly nutrition and on how food can either heal or damage your body, mind and spirit.
